Liquor stores sell other commodities than alcoholic beverages. These stores stock up on food and non-alcoholic drinks too. Although groceries tend to focus on food and drinks, it is a positive note that liquor stores do the same thing too. However, those who want to find a certain type of alcoholic beverage can’t find them in grocery stores due to many restrictions and licenses.

Around 100 years ago, the ban on alcohol caused an uproar for being told what they couldn’t drink, which lead to demonstrations and a black market for these goods. Since COVID-19 has already forced people to stay at home, it wouldn’t be acceptable to stop liquor stores from continuing as it could cause another problem in today’s society.
