Speaking of addiction, Paul Sr. battled with it until the show began, and he attended a 12-step programme in 1985, which transformed his life. In addition, he told CNN that his family had a lengthy history of drinking. “My uncle was an alcoholic, as was my mother. And, you know, most of them died as a result of it”.
Fortunately, he understood that if he did not change, all he had fought so hard to establish would be jeopardized.
