While it’s difficult to envision a shop other than the Orange County Choppers as the central theme of the show, it wasn’t always the case. The TV show was supposed to include another bike shop.
Craig Piligian, the series’ producer, told Forbes that OCC was not his first option and he swapped the shop the night before filming. He didn’t believe that the store had the right approach.
